A percentage of women who have been using silicone breast implants have shown connective tissue disorders. In this kind of disorder the body reacts to its own body cells as foreign materials. Also silicone gel implants have been found to be a prone reason behind breast cancer among women. However this fact has not been proved by the medical fraternity as such and has only been assumed hypothetically.
